#2002 Iron Filing Tube.
Useful in magnetic demonstrations.  Iron filing are sealed in a glass tube.

#1201-2 Lodestone Stirrup.
This is a brass stirrup designed to hold a lodestone, bar magnet or friction rod horizontally so that it can spin freely when suspended from a string.  Used to determine magnetic polarity.

#1825 Magnet, Rare Earth (Neodymium)

#1251 Floating Magnet Apparatus.
A terrific demonstration of magnetic repulsion.  Three circular magnets float above a handsome blue acrylic base. Instructions provided.

#1251-1 Floating (Wobbly Bar) Apparatus.
Demonstrates the opposing forces of like poles of a magnet.  One cylindrical magnet floats above the other in a form which confines both.

#1257 Magnetic Lines of Force Demonstration
     This clear acrylic plate makes understanding the lines of magnetic force much easier for the student because the lines are so visible.  Iron filings float in a layer of oil and orientate themselves according to the magnetic force of any magnet place on top.  Great for overhead projectors.  (Magnet not included).  Size is 7/16" x 4 3/4" x 8 3/4", 292 grams.

#1252 Magnet Suspension Apparatus.
Demonstrates that a force may be exerted for an indefinite period of time.  A magnet and chain are suspended horizontally between two aluminum posts on an acrylic base.  Instructions included.

#1254 Magnetic Sheet Separator.
Demonstrates the effect of an induced magnetic field.  Small steel sheets separate from one another as a ceramic magnet is brought near.  Instruction sheet included.
