#501-9 Electroscope, Enclosed Unit. A brass ball sits atop a plastic cap, from which very fine copper wires are suspended and to which the electrostatic balls are attached.  The entire unit is sealed in a clear, plastic cylinder which shields air currents.  Instructions are provided.
