#1871 Ripple Tank with Power Supply A classic apparatus for studying sound, electromagnetic, light and other types of waves.  Students can watch the effects of refraction, reflection, dispersion and deflection of waves in a small pool of water.  Wave frequency and applitude can also be more easily visualized with this unit.  Comes complete with power supply, variable speed motor, overhead lamp and tank with stand.  The tank frame is made from satin finished aluminum and the tank itself is one piece molded plastic.  Tray dimension 1.5" x 10.5" x 14", unit weight 9 lbs.
