#1506  Archimedes's Apparatus. Demonstrates buoyancy and displacement in a way that makes it easy for students to visualize and understand.  This set consists of a cylinder with a closely fitted matching plug.  The assembled unit is weighted using the large spring scale.  The unit is lowered into water and the weight reduction noted.  The displaced water is poured into the cylinder to prove that the water's weigt equals the displaced weight.  Comes with cylinder and plug assembly, overflow reservoir, and large spring scale.  The support stand is not included.  Instructions provided.
